Shakti is a goddess inspired four part series led by VBY Graduate & Mentor, Swathy Madhukar. In this series, we will explore the goddesses: Durga, Lakshmi, Sarasvati & Kali.

Yoga teaches us that the creative energy of the universe is Shakti, a feminine power. Yoga also teaches us that this energy is present within each one of us.

We will explore the goddesses & their energies, & how we can consciously invoke & embody this energy to become the divine reflection of the goddess herself.

Each week we will study one goddess using sacred lore, asana, pranayama & mantra to deepen our practice together both on the mat and off the mat to live a more empowered life. The philosophy is ancient & rich.

The workshop is open to all genders.
