Kelly Golden, E-RYT 500 and Level 1 Para Yoga Certified Teacher
Kelly is the Founder and Director of Vira Bhava Yoga, and a lifetime practitioner of Yoga. She began practicing Yoga in 1994 and continues to practice today. She started teaching yoga in 2002, and now leads teacher trainings all over the United States. She studies the ParaYoga Style with Yogarupa Rod Stryker (in which she is a Level I Certified Teacher since 2012), and also studies with Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten.
Rachel Tuck, RYT 500
Rachel is the Associate Director of Vira Bhava Yoga. She has been practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for 8. She is a 500 hr Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher and co-owns a local yoga studio in Nevada City, CA - The Golden Mandala Donation Yoga Studio (A Vira Bhava Yoga Studio). She believes that yoga should not hurt and it should not make you dislike yourself. We use yoga as a tool to become embodied, get a sense of where we are at with ourselves, and then as a way to support ourselves as we move off of the mat and into our daily lives. She is a Karma Yogi. Her favorite quote is, "Do not ask what the world needs. Amy Joytir, RYT 500
Amy plays a role as Program Coordinator for Vira Bhava Yoga. She has been living her yoga in one form or another for most of her adult life. She brings to Vira Bhava many years of experience in anatomy, bodywork, fitness, and multiple forms of yoga. As practitioner and teacher, she blends alignment and anatomy with breath and energetics, and her life and teachings are informed by tantric, buddhist, and contemplative practices. Always, her classes are light-hearted and infused with a deep sense of presence.
