The meaning of Vira Bhava is the essence of a warrior.
In the Mahanirvana Tantra, it is said that only practitioners with this heroic character are appropriate to study the path of Tantra.
Vira Bhava Yoga is a good fit for practicing yogis who have experienced directly that Yoga is more than an asana or even meditation, but that it is a bridge to our own infinite capacity. Vira Bhava Yoga works to cultivate each participant’s unique gifts by fostering an opportunity for individual growth and expansion. We work with Yogis who are ready to connect to the inspiration and power that this practice has to offer through tools, teachings, inquiry, and support inspired by the teachings of Sri Vidya Tantra and Para Yoga. Vira Bhava Yoga wants to help you uncover the true essence within and cultivate the courage and strength to share it with your community and the world.
What does it mean to be a spiritual warrior? What does it mean to have Vira Bhav? It means that we are steadfast in our convictions. We don’t condemn the convictions of others, but we know what is right and true for us and work to align with that in all moments. We stand on a foundation of trust. Trust in ourselves, in our choices, and in a power that is us but also so much bigger than us. We weather the storms of life with grace. We anticipate the ever changing nature of our environment and our inner landscape, and we work to anchor in the unchanging core of our Self that resonates our truth. We serve the world in alignment with our natural gifts. We see the light in everyone, even those who call us to battle. We are aware that EVERY battle is an inward one. That when provoked, called upon, or challenged by the outside world, we are really just being called to heal our own inner lacerations. We commit to the practice of healing and becoming whole so that we can best serve the world. Always in service to the highest principles.

What is ParaYoga?
* Para means Supreme.
* ParaYoga is a philosophy of yoga rooted in the legacy and lineage of the Tantra of the Himalayan Sages and the teachings of Sri Vidya (Science of God).
* ParaYoga dives deeply into the discovery of the Self through time-tested techniques including self-inquiry, Pranayama, Kriya, Ayurveda, meditation, mantra, and more.
The scope of ParaYoga is vast, and though at times it is quite esoteric, it is offered in ways that make the etheric concrete and gives the students direct access to the experiences that so many of the ancient texts talk about. Through the study of philosophy, the science of Yoga, and the power of Prana, ParaYoga supports the growth of students into true Yogis who not only embody their discipline, but also are living examples of the results of their committed practice.
