Vira Bhava Yoga 500 Teacher Training Provides a full spectrum integrative yoga experience that is Yoga Alliance (YA) certified and based on the YA standards. This training provides the resources, knowledge, experiences, and support needed so that you may recognize your individual purpose, find your voice, refine your skills and claim your passion and power.

This YA Registered 500 hour program is firmly rooted in Sri Vidya Tantric Philosophy and has been created with the intention of teaching and supporting empowered Yogis to find a voice and share it with the world. We are here to support those who are seeking to ask questions, deepen their practice, and share it with others. In this training, we come together as a community seeking profound and dramatic transformation in ourselves and our world.

The 535 hour training takes place over 22 months.  Year 1 is intensive study that spans 8 months. The class meets for 1 weekend each month to study asana techniques, teaching methodology, anatomy & physiology, philosophy, and self exploration. This section of the program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to teach yoga.  The second year is an Advanced Studies course designed to build upon and deepen your understanding of the fundamental concepts you learned in the first section of training.

The Advanced Studies section builds upon the subtle, philosophical and experiential aspects learned in Year 1 and dives deeply into elements of the practice that open doors to new realms of understanding, practice, personal connection, connection with the other, practice, and teaching.  This section of the training is structured in Five 5-day Modules: 1 module every three months for 12 months.

An Elite Group of Yogi Warriors Working to Go Deep, Be Great, and Inspire Others

"Kelly is an incredible teacher and offers powerful insight into a thriving life. I've listened to the meditations over and over. The topics were perfectly timed for my life, practice and teachings. I am so grateful for this wonderful and worthwhile experience."
- Sara Drummond, 300 Hour Vira Bhava Yoga Graduate

STRUCTURE: The first section of training (Months 1-8) teaches you how to teach and refines your skills and intentions in your practice.  In every weekend you will gain cumulative skills to apply in classes and with students that ensure safety, creativity, and success.

The second section of training follows the model of the Five Koshas.  Each module will explore one of the Koshas in depth.  We will explore the significance and subtle aspects of each Kosha and it's relevance to an empowered practice of Yoga.

INTENT: The Intention of the 535 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is to provide training, exploration, inspiration, and skills to support your own healing and ultimately the healing of others.  Through a variety of teachers, styles, tools, experiments, study, and communication, this training explores the deep and intimate uncovering of the highest expression of Self as well as the obstacles and patterns that stand in the way of it.  Together we will cultivate a warrior's heart as we stand in our truth, deepen our practice, grow to our greatest potential, and learn how to share this power with others.
